- As-Needed Babysitter — date night, occasional babysitting, or temporary care until a recurring nanny is placed
- Before/After School Childcare
- Short-Term & Temporary Recurring Nanny Placement — recurring placement under three months, including summer and temporary recurring needs
- Long-Term Nanny Placement— full-time or part-time recurring placement of three months or longer
- Overnight Childcare
- Childcare for Special Events — weddings, reunions, conferences, birthdays
- Nanny Share
- Backup Childcare — as-needed sitters if your regular sitter or nanny is unavailable; placement fee refunded if no backup sitter is available
Easy Process To Become a Member
- Complete the application by selecting Client Sign Up or Get Started
- Receive an automatic email confirming your application, with a payment link for the $45.00 annual membership fee and a link to the parent agreement.
- Your membership renews automatically each year on your anniversary date via PayPal, and can be canceled anytime
- Once the membership fee is paid and the parent agreement is signed, receive an email confirming your account is activated.
- Log in to submit a babysitter request. For nanny needs email us with your nanny needs.
- Next steps depend on the type of care you requested:

For Babysitting Requests: Once you submit your request you will Receive an automatic email with a link to pay the placement fee. Once the fee is paid and a sitter is assigned, you will receive a confirmation email with a brief bio and photo of your sitter.

For Nanny Requests: Contact us directly, pay a $50 search fee, answer interview questions, We will send you potential candidates bios to review. Once you decide you would like to meet a candidate, we will connect you directly to schedule an interview.

About Kim — Owner
In 2000, my husband and I made the big move from West Virginia to Apex, NC so that my husband and I could continue our careers; me as a special education teacher and my husband as a CPA. I had a fantastic five years teaching in the Wake County school system. In 2005, our first child was born, and I began a new chapter as a stay-at-home mom. Our second child arrived three years later, bringing us even more joy. Although being at home with my kids was wonderful, I missed teaching. That’s when I started tutoring children in my home. As my little tutoring business grew, I needed a reliable babysitter to watch my children. I wanted someone to play with them, help with homework, and take them to activities. Like many other moms, I’ve always been very particular about who takes care of my children. I’ve been lucky to find some great sitters, but they would eventually leave for college or move away. When that happened, I wished there was a way to find a reliable, trustworthy babysitter for me, which led to the creation of Peak City Sitters in 2015.
